Doodle God Universe: In This New Apple Arcade Game You're The Creator Of The Universe

Doodle God, launched in 2010 by JoyBits, gave a puzzle-game twist to the world-building genre. Doodle God expanded into a series of games that include Doodle Devil, Doodle Mafia, Doodle Farm and more. Doodle God Universe joined Apple Arcade on Friday, joining the extensive list of Apple Arcade games.

Doodle God Universe lets you combine various elements starting with air, earth, and fire. You can then construct new elements and items through puzzles to build your own universe, and also help support the life that lives there.

While Doodle God Universe will feel familiar to those who've played the games before, Paul, a brand evangelist for JoyBits who prefers to only use his initials, says in many ways that this is an completely new game. Doodle God Universe features modern icons for elements, redrawn 3D-generated scenes, and more reactions. There are also changes to the game's difficulty and speed.

"Easiness and speed are crucial for modern gamer and you can feel it in Doodle God Universe thanks to the latest animations of every action performed by players, a minimal UI style that improves usability and an innovative scoring system that motivates players to search for new reactions," Paul told CNET via email. " The game adjusts to the style and logical thinking of a particular player now."

Paul states that Paul says that the Doodle God series is an A+B=C-style game. Similar mechanics are utilized in games such as Triple Town, 2048, and Little Alchemy. These games blend elements from other games to create new ones. For example, the game's official trailer shows that the combination of fire and bird creates the phoenix. Doodle God's unique content, quests, puzzles, mini-games and art set it apart from other variations and duplicates, Paul says.

The game also gets a boost thanks to Apple's new hardware, like 5G and the A14 Bionic chip.

"The power of all modern Apple devices -- iPhone, iPad, Mac, AppleTV -- as well as a myriad of great technologies, such as Metal, integrated with the Unity3D All this allowed us to implement the most daring games and concepts in visual design," Paul said.

Making up world-building games that are chaotic and imaginative games such as  Minecraft , Stardew Valley, Terraria and The Sims have supplied gamers with endless hours of entertainment for years. Like all games that build worlds, Paul says Doodle God Universe is about exploring and searching for the fresh and exciting.

Paul said that world-building games can be very interesting for a long time and that many players would like to re-read Doodle God over and again as a novel. "And in the event of an absolute lockdown, when the person is spending most of the time at homeis there anything more satisfying than re-reading your favourite book, watching your favorite TV show, or re-creating the world in the Doodle God Universe?"

To have the most fun with the game, those who pick up Doodle God Universe must be open to experimentation, Paul says. Doodle God Universe rewards curiosity.

Paul said, "Use your imagination. Let creativity be your engine." "There is no predetermined game rules. You can make use of your brain to combine elements or create them chaotically.

With the launch of Doodle God Universe, Angry Birds Reloaded and Alto's Odyssey, Apple Arcade is close to 200 games, with more still to be added.
